More Than a Treatment: Why Your Skin Journey Deserves a Nurse’s Touch

If you’ve ever looked in the mirror and felt like your skin just wasn't "behaving" despite your best efforts, I want you to know: I have been exactly where you are.
My passion for skin didn't start in a textbook; it started with my own frustration. As a teenager, I was on intense prescribed acne treatments that completely shattered my skin barrier. For years, I battled redness and extreme dryness that no "luxury" cream could fix. Then came the sun exposure of our beautiful coast, multiple pregnancies, and eventually, hitting my late 30s. I noticed my skin becoming even drier, pigmentation creeping in, and fine lines starting to ruin my makeup.
I felt like I was losing my "glow," and as a Registered Nurse, I knew there had to be a better way than just "fixing" a wrinkle.
Why I Lead With Consultations (Not Just Procedures)
At Through the Looking Glass Clinic, I don’t believe in "selling" a treatment. I believe in a partnership. When you come to see me in Tweed Heads, you aren’t just a 30-minute booking. You are a woman who deserves to be heard, cared for, and treated with a conservative, gentle hand.
Because I am a Registered Nurse and Midwife, my approach is different:
Safety First: I understand anatomy and clinical standards at a hospital-grade level.
Conservative Results: My philosophy is "enhancing, not altering." I want you to look refreshed, never "frozen" or "done."
The Whole Picture: We look at your skin barrier (the foundation!), your lifestyle, and your long-term goals.
Stepping Through the Looking Glass
For my clients over 35, the goal is often the same: to look as vibrant on the outside as they feel on the inside. But the first step can be intimidating.
That’s why I offer Comprehensive Aesthetic Consultations. This is a safe, warm space where we talk—genuinely talk—about your skin health. We might discuss structural support, bio-remodelling, or how a medical-grade range like O Cosmedics can finally fix the dryness you've been battling for years.
What Makes a "Safe" Experience?
In a world of high-volume beauty bars, choosing a nurse-led clinic means choosing:
AHPRA-Regulated Care: Medical oversight of every single step.
Evidence-Based Products: Using only what is TGA-approved and clinically proven.
A Relationship: You see me every time. I know your skin, I know your history, and I care about your results.
Your Invitation to Refresh
You don't need "more" product; you need the right plan. Whether you’re worried about pigmentation, volume loss, or just want your makeup to sit smoothly again, let’s start with a conversation.
I’ve spent my life learning how to heal my own skin barrier and help hundreds of others do the same. I’d love to help you find your glow again
